Data Deletion Policy

AquaAtlas is committed to providing users with transparency and control over their personal data. This policy explains how account deletion and data removal requests are handled.

How to Delete Your Account

The primary method for account deletion is the in-app account deletion feature located in Settings > Account > Delete Account. Once confirmed through the two-step in-app confirmation process, deletion begins immediately and access to the account will be revoked.

If you are unable to access the app or encounter issues with in-app deletion, you may submit a deletion request by email to support@aquaatlas.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Include your registered email address and, if possible, your account user ID. We may require identity verification before processing email-based deletion requests.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon confirmed account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

Locally stored data on your device (AI conversations, insights, cached test data) is cleared upon logout following deletion.

Processing Time

In-app deletion requests are processed immediately upon confirmation. Firebase Authentication credentials and Firestore data are removed as part of the same deletion operation.

Email-based deletion requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification. We will confirm completion of the deletion by email once processing is complete.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain limited data may be retained after account deletion where required by law or legitimate business need:

Retained data is limited to the minimum necessary, is not used for marketing purposes, and is stored in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Third-Party Services

Deletion of your AquaAtlas account removes data from Breachora LLC's infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud). However, data previously processed by third-party providers — including Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat for subscription billing — is governed by their respective privacy policies and retention schedules.

Breachora LLC cannot delete data held exclusively by third-party platforms on your behalf. For billing record deletion, contact Apple or Google directly through their privacy portals.

Re-Registration After Deletion

After account deletion is complete, you may create a new AquaAtlas account using the same email address. Email verification will be required upon re-registration. Previously deleted data will not be restored to new accounts.
